Dr. Ajay Kumar Dharmabrat Acharya is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kaya Chikitsa at Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital, Sri Sri University, Cuttack, starting from January 24, 2025.
He earned his BAMS degree from S.V.M. Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Ilkal, Bagalkot, Karnataka in 2018. He then pursued his MD in KayaChikitsa, also from S.V.M. Ayurveda Medical College, completing it in 2022 under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Dr. Acharya is currently continuing his Ph.D. in Kaya Chikitsa at Sri Sri University.
Dr. Acharya brings nearly three years 1 month of teaching experience, spanning both UG and PG courses. He was born on June 15, 1995, and is proficient in Odia, Hindi, and English. Throughout his academic career, he has participated in numerous papers, training workshops, seminars, and webinars.
His areas of interest and expertise include treating musculoskeletal diseases and general ailments through Ayurvedic principles and Panchakarma. Dr. Acharya also utilizes Samhita-based applied knowledge in his approach to
disease management.
